Some rooms include record players with vintage vinyl. Room 406 has a sliding door between the clawfoot tub and the main room, plus an entire mirrored bathroom wall. Some rooms have views of Portland's Pearl District with natural light, while others face the front of the building. The hotel offers the best bathrobe by friends at wings+horns. Touches such as reclaimed school chairs and nightstands made out of books or suitcases add a unique style. One room offers a large, private, single-occupant bathroom down the hall. Some rooms offer bargain bin vinyl and new releases from indie rock label Jagjaguwar. Guests also have a gift for the future - like finding a laundry-worn five dollar bill in the back pocket of last summer's shorts.
