mixed experience above a pub

room noiseoverpriced room

i requested a quiet room but got one right above the bar. it reminded me of being above a nightclub (the noise went on until late). no one warned us about this when we arrived, and i think the room was overpriced because of the noise. i also noticed the floor sloped down towards the end of the bed.

the location was central. access to many amenities was available. i found the staff to be really attentive. the hotel also had a food station.

i noticed the stairway to the room was filthy. it looked very tired. i think the common areas could be refreshed.

The hallways looked really scruffy. The stairway was clearly not cleaned recently. I found that no breakfast was offered at all. It seems overpriced for what I get.
