breakfast buffet local cuisine dated room gangway damages
The breakfast buffet provided a variety of choices with delicious local cuisine. I loved this nice touch. The hot spring facilities were also kept very nicely, everything was immaculate and soothing
The hotel room felt quite dated. I also noticed the gangway seemed to have damages and in need of some attention.

onsen facilities shuttle service breakfast buffet
the hotel has two distinct onsen facilities these were fully equipped with everything i needed the souvenir shop prices compared favorably to stores outside the hotel they also provide a shuttle service to the station. the staff were helpful providing umbrellas during rainy days. the breakfast buffet included a wide variety of options it was a great experience.
the walls were quite thin i could hear noise from the next room and the elevators.

Really good Stay! Highly Recommended!
tatami room mountain view hida beef huge gift shop
The tatami room was ready upon arrival with floor seating. Later, staff rearranged it with mattresses while we were at dinner. The spacious room had pretty mountain views. A traditional Japanese dinner included delicious hida beef. The hotel gift shop is huge! It offers souvenirs, local snacks, and frozen or jerky hida beef.
I found the opening hours of the bar to be very limited during the day (It seems a pity).

The breakfast buffet included a wide array of choices with friendly service. Dinner featured an exquisite kaiseki (multi-course) experience. The Green Market buffet offered many selections.

The hotel provides a convenient shuttle service every 30 minutes from the JR station. There are two onsen available, one is new (2023). Parking is available directly below the hotel and is free.

The staff were generally helpful and friendly (such awesome people!). They converted the tatami room in the evening. The cleaning team in charge of the baths were very nice.

The room was spacious and very clean. The Orinkaku western-style room was fabulous. The traditional-style room was cozy with a nice view (totally worth it!). Care products were available in individual sample packages.
