Rooms and Suites
Summit Lodge has 44 rooms. Standard rooms include two double beds, one king bed, one queen bed, or one double bed with a twin bed, each with a full private bath. Some smaller rooms feature a queen or two twin beds, private showers, and alternate views. Family rooms sleep up to five, with combinations like a queen bed plus two twin beds, a queen bed and twin bunk beds, or a king bed, one twin bed, and twin bunk beds; all family rooms have a mini-fridge. Two suites have adjoining rooms, a king bed in the bedroom, and a living area with a sofa bed and chair, plus a walk-in closet and mini-fridge. Adjoining rooms feature a queen bed and trundle bed connected to a room with two double beds; each has a private bath and terrace. An additional set has a queen bed and sofa bed with a full bath, while the adjoining room includes a queen bed and trundle bed with a standing shower. Each room has air conditioning, a wardrobe, a terrace, a garden or mountain view, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV with cable channels.
Dining Options
O'Dwyer's Public House serves a complete dinner menu with salads and appetizers, along with Guinness, Harp, Smithwick's, and five Vermont beers on tap. Chef specials are available. A continental breakfast is served daily from 8:00am to 10:00am in the Country Room, with seating on the Terrace. Late-night snacks are prepared by the Executive Chef. O'Dwyer's Poolside Bar provides full poolside service and outdoor dining on the upper and lower terraces.
Leisure and Entertainment
Summit Lodge features two heated saltwater pools and an indoor saltwater whirlpool. A game room includes a pool table, darts, a TV, and a photo booth. Lawn games, such as bocce ball, horseshoes, and shuffleboard, are available. The lodge provides live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Guests can enjoy the outdoor heated winter plunge pool and two saunas.
