the hotel is located beachfront. the staff were really friendly and helpful during the entire stay. they parked my rented car and picked it up from garage, promptly every time. i would love to return one day.
my room was not ready at 4pm. i was told by one of the women at the desk that the room was being inspected and wasn't ready yet. the water pressure in the bathroom was terrible.

charming stay with beautiful views

i really enjoyed the location near cannery row. the side stairs took me straight to a beautiful little beach with tide pools and clear water. the hotel was in walking distance of everything i wanted to see. i checked in right as wine and cheese were served at the hotel (what a treat!) before i started my afternoon of shopping and enjoying myself.
the building heating system made a constant hum and was very noticeable at night.

the location allowed easy access to local attractions, a significant advantage. i particularly enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese in the lobby each afternoon. pillow options were extensive (around eight!), assuring personal comfort. the staff provided a continental breakfast, a welcome convenience.
my room faced the street, and i could hear noise at night. i wish i could have enjoyed the bay view from my room.

the location of this hotel met my expectations as it offered convenient access to nearby attractions.
i found significant issues with the room i was assigned. the absence of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm. the provided fan was inadequate and the noise from cannery row was disruptive, especially during sleeping hours.
