Dining Experience

Guests can dine in the onsite a la carte restaurant, dating from the Venetian period. The traditional a la carte tavern 'Halara' offers local cuisine in a unique environment. Guests can choose several kinds of warm bread, pastries, and croissants, all freshly baked and served every morning from 08:00 to 10:30 in the Chalara restaurant. The breakfast features local yogurt and honey, cereals and granola, nuts, fresh summer fruits and vegetables, boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, and sweet homemade cakes. Guests can enjoy an excellent glass of local wine, accompanied by locally produced cheese and other light dishes. The pool bar offers drinks, refreshments, and snacks in a cocooned environment under lemon trees and levanter gardens. The pool bar offers soft drinks, beers, cocktails, mocktails, small snacks, and lunch meals. Traditional flavors are served in a unique environment of sculptured stone and craved wood that takes you back to another era, either indoors or outdoors.

Private villas featuring exclusive pools provide a relaxing escape, while the on-site tavern, set in a restored Venetian building, is more than suitable to discover authentic Cretan cuisine.
