Rooms at Sparrows Lodge
Sparrows Lodge offers 20 rooms with exposed beam ceilings and concrete floors featuring inlaid pebbles. Each room includes a plush pillow-top mattress with Italian linens, Grown Alchemist bath items, and original artwork. Rooms feature air conditioning and ceiling fans. Bathrooms offer rain showers; some include horse troughs as bathtubs. Most rooms include private patios. There are 10 Poolside Rooms with queen beds and open showers. Garden Rooms are secluded and located in the garden section, featuring a king-size bed. The Cabin includes a full-size SMEG refrigerator, microwave, coffee brewer, and kitchen sink, plus a dining/living area separated from the bedroom and a king-size bed. The Owner's Suite features a separate living area, gas fireplace, and a bathroom with a large steel horse trough bathtub and open shower with rain head. Accessible rooms are available upon request, featuring raised toilet frames, shower seats, and grab bars.
Dining at The Barn
The Barn Kitchen offers American cuisine, with ingredients from Coachella Valley farms. It is open daily for lunch from 11 am to 2 pm and for dinner from 5 pm to 9 pm. The bar is open until 11 pm for hotel guests, with microbrews, wine, and spirits. Michelin Guide recommends The Barn Kitchen as one of their favorite Palm Springs restaurants. The Barn Kitchen offers a continental breakfast with homemade bread and pastries, fruit, yogurt, granola, cheese, and charcuterie, along with Vittoria coffee and espresso. Guests can enjoy 'Chicken Wednesdays' and 'Steak Saturdays'-three-course, family-style meals limited to 25-30 diners. The menu includes appetizers such as Smashed Cucumbers, Guac & Chips, and Heirloom Tomatoes. Main courses feature the Barn Burger, Sweet Corn Agnolotti, and Grilled John Dory. Guests dine at a communal table under a pergola.
Leisure and Activities
Guests have access to a large chlorine pool and a whirlpool in the center of the property, as well as an outdoor fire pit and a vegetable garden. Tennis courts and free use of bicycles are offered. A massage tent offers treatments, including Sparrows Custom Massage (60/90 minutes), Prenatal Massage (60 minutes), and Two Birds Couples Massage (60/90 minutes). A Whole Body Purification Treatment is also available. Outdoor activities await at Joshua Tree National Park, the Living Desert, and the Aerial Tram. Golf is available at Tahquitz Canyon and Indian Canyons. Horse riding at the Smoke Tree stables is available.
