Skalion Hotel is in Kumkapı, the heart of Istanbul's Old City. It is also located in Laleli, known as Istanbul's Russia Town. The historic Sultanahmet area, with Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and Blue Mosque, is 800 meters away. Sultanahmet Square is about a 20-minute walk. Beyazit tram station and Vezneciler or Yenikapı metro station are nearby, with tram and metro lines running to Sultanahmet, Eminönü, Karaköy, Taksim and Kabataş.
