Shell Island Resort-All Oceanfront Suites features 153 rooms, each overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Each suite includes a private balcony, a living room with a sleeper sofa, two flat-screen TVs, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, and blender. Each full-service suite includes one bedroom, one and a half baths, a living area with a full-size sleeper sofa, a dining area, and a kitchenette. Each room features individual water heaters, and separate heating and air conditioning.
Dining Options
The North End Bistro at Shell Resort serves American cuisine with local influences for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort's oceanview restaurant provides options, including seafood and steaks. Guests can stop by the oceanfront restaurant and tiki bar for appetizers, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Shell Island Restaurant and Oceanfront Lounge offer indoor and outdoor seating. SIR Restaurant is an on-site restaurant and lounge.
Leisure and Entertainment
Shell Island Resort features indoor and outdoor pools. Guests can use the fitness room, jacuzzi, and sand volleyball court. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are available. Shell Island Resort is on Wrightsville Beach. It is 15 minutes' drive to Airlie Gardens and Mayfaire Town Center. The resort provides views of Figure Eight Island and Mason's Inlet. Wilmington International Airport is 20 km from Shell Island Resort. Redix, a fixture of the island since 1969, is nearby. The John Nesbitt Loop, a 2.45-mile sidewalk pathway, is nearby. The resort is just over the drawbridge from Wilmington.
