“This family-run hotel, with over 500 years of history, faces Pelhamer Lake in the small village of Pelham, near Bad Endorf. I find the location idyllic, with free access to the wellness spa and its proximity to hiking trails appealing. While some may find the terrace noise and farm smells distracting, the charm of Bavarian hospitality and the unique self-serve salad bar are definite highlights.”
