Rooms have a 36" or more accessible path of travel around and between beds. Wheelchair accessible guestroom door entrances, bathroom door entrances, and interior doors allow at least 32" clear passage width. There are also multi-level door viewers.
Bathroom Accessibility
Accessible bathrooms include grab bars in the shower with a shower seat and a hand-held shower wand with a shutoff valve and temperature regulator with at least a 60" long hose. Low-level towel hooks, racks, or bars are placed within 54" of the floor for side approach or 48" for forward approach. Lower mirrors and a removable shower head are present. A roll-in shower is free of curbs or lips, and a securely fastened folding seat at 17"-19" above the floor is available. Wheelchair accessible raised toilets per ADA standards are included, with a toilet seat between 17"-19" above the floor and horizontal grab bars on the adjacent side wall and behind the toilet.
