Schloss Weitenburg, owned since 1720 by the Barons of Rassler, offers rooms with original antique furniture, and rooms with contemporary furniture. Superior double rooms feature stucco ceilings or four-poster beds. Standard double rooms include Riviera Maison furniture. Junior suites offer lounge areas, with views of the castle park, or panoramic views of the Neckar Valley. Suites include a Renaissance salon and an Empire bedroom. The New York Suite features a bathing boudoir with a copper tub and canopy bed transported from New York. The Golfsuite includes a bedroom with a separate living room and a corner bathtub. All rooms include a bathroom/WC and satellite TV. Extra beds are available for EUR 44.00. Baby cots are available for EUR 28.00 (up to 2 years). Dogs are allowed for EUR 19.00.
Dining at Weitenburg
The restaurant at Schloss Weitenburg is open daily from 07:00 to 23:00, located in the former castle kitchen. The dining room features a panoramic terrace with views of the Neckar river valley. The refined cuisine uses venison from the hotel's game reserve, herbs from the castle garden, and regional delights. Most of the wines come from Württemberg and Baden. Afternoon Tea Time includes Ronnefeldt tea, scones with fruit jam, butter and double cream, a muffin, a chocolate éclair, and three sandwiches. On Sundays and holidays from May 1st to the end of September, guests can stop at the beer garden between 11:00 and 17:30. Picnics in the Castle Park include sandwiches, homemade tart, fresh fruit, sparkling wine, juice, and mineral water.
