the hotel had great views of the rhine river from the terrace i secured my bike in the garage the spa provided an excellent way to relax after a long day exploring i valued the amenities available to me here.

the reception lacked helpfulness when i asked about options to reach the hotel from the river ferry the steep hill proved challenging without assistance i expected better support given my status as a senior guest and i hope they improve soon.

breakfast featured an excellent choice of items and the terrace provided amazing views during meals the restaurant staff provided solid service and tended to customer needs i found the dinner options to be particularly delicious.

the room in the villa featured high ceilings and beautiful decorations the tea and coffee making facilities were a definite plus bathrobes and slippers were thoughtfully provided i found the room clean and well maintained.

i stayed in a comfort double room for a few nights the breakfast was a lovely spread with breads cheeses and yogurts dinner was also amazing in the dining room i made a reservation for dinner there

the hotel is a bit difficult to get to without a car it is a steep walk from the town

worn carpetsfaulty shower

the rooms felt a little tired and could use some refreshing i noticed worn carpets in the hallway it detracted from the experience. also the shower didn't work properly i found that frustrating. the lack of a dedicated space for a wash bag in the shower room was inconvenient it added to the overall sense of needing an upgrade
