Hotel Schiff Am See has welcomed guests since 1272. In 1555, the landlord of the 'manorial existing inn ' was Sigmund Märk, who also cultivated a vineyard in Allmannsdorf. The 'stately existing inn ' later came into the possession of Joseph Weber. Windows crafted by Constance glass painters Lütz and Elmpt can be found in the bar on the ground floor.
