Comfortable rooms with queen beds are located in the original 1936 tourist court wings. There are also three European-style rooms that share a bath in a connecting hallway, as well as a private terrace seating area overlooking the grounds and South Congress. Rooms include heating, air conditioning, a mini-bar, a terrace, a patio, and garden furniture, plus free toiletries, a CD player, and a flat-screen TV. The unit has 1 or 2 beds.
Courtyard Lounge Dining
The Courtyard Lounge serves beer, wine, cocktails, and light fare daily in the garden courtyard. Jo's Coffee is also on site, near additional locations Downtown, on Red River, on the St Edward's campus, and at Austin's Bergstrom Airport. Room service is available every day from 7 to 11 AM.
Leisure and Entertainment
The Hotel San José offers regular and special events throughout the year. Guests can enjoy live music with local musicians and cocktails during Hotel San José's Lounge Sessions. On the first Wednesday of each month starting at 7 PM, Breakaway Records spins soul, funk, and international grooves. Guests can also dance to house music. Every month, there is a Jazz Brunch in the Lounge.

The San José is located in the heart of Austin's SoCo neighborhood, near the Palmer Events Center and Town Lake. Nearby landmarks include the Sfanthor House of Wax (0.3 km), the I Love You So Much Mural (0.3 km), South Congress Avenue (1 km), the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum (2 km), the State Capitol vista (2.5 km), the Greetings From Austin Mural (1 km), and the Stevie Ray Vaughan Statue (1.5 km). South Austin also includes the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
