Comfortable Stay Near the Beach

beach proximity helpful staff excellent location

The hotel is very near to the beach! The staff tried to help us always. Ruwan working in front office was a nice person and helped us a lot. I could easily access the bikini beach area and many restaurants and shops were nearby, this proximity really enhanced my experience.

The bathroom had a slight smell sometimes. I think it was due to the drains.

The breakfast had several options, though most dishes had a strong Indian influence. An omelette station prepared eggs to order. The restaurant is outdoors, it could get busy during peak hours with limited seating available.

The room included Wi-Fi and a cable connection, amenities I appreciated. It also had a digital panel, this panel controlled the 'Do Not Disturb' and 'Please Clean' functions. A kettle was provided along with tea, coffee, creamer, and sugar packets.

Solid stay, few bumps

I found the staff friendly. Ruwan was helpful. The hotel arranged two day trips. I also enjoyed the spa and restaurant. The beach has umbrellas and sunbeds. I appreciated the live music and DJ on weekends. It made for great atmosphere.

The speedboat transfer from the airport cost 180 USD. This felt expensive. Cheaper options existed. The breakfast lacked variety. I had to buy fruit and coffee elsewhere.

The location is great. I really enjoyed having direct access to the beach. Breakfast was delicious with many options (especially the omelets!).

The speedboat transfer was disorganized. We waited a long time. Our room had a slight odor in the bathroom that I noticed.

The room offered a SUPERB balcony sea view. I particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning. The location is convenient. The hotel is right on the bikini beach. Staff were attentive and tried to accommodate our needs.

The speedboat transfer arranged through the hotel cost 180 USD, which seemed EXPENSIVE. I later discovered cheaper options at the airport. The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. The juices tasted artificial. Flies and crows were often present around the food, unhygienic.
