great stay near khao san

the hotel offers a buffet breakfast each morning. movies are shown each evening above the pool. the location is excellent near many restaurants and within walking distance to the water taxis. the staff were really good always helpful and professional.
i got put in a room right next to the dormitory and it was noisy. i moved to another room and there was still incessant foot traffic outside on the squeaky floors. the ac is intolerably loud when not on quiet setting.

squeaky floorsloud air conditioning
The noise was quite a problem. I was initially in a room near the dormitory. It was noisy. I moved, but the squeaky floors outside created incessant foot traffic sounds. The air conditioning was either too loud or not effective. The movie played by the pool until late added to the noise.
