Samed Cabana Resort is located on the white sandy Ao Phai Beach, directly facing the turquoise sea. Nearby landmarks include Ao Hin Khok (1.5 km), Wai Beach (1 km), Ao Cho Beach (0.5 km), Ao Phutsa (1.5 km), Apache (1 km), Ao Phrao (2.5 km), Ao Thian (0.5 km), Ao Nuan (0.5 km), and Ao Karang (1 km). The resort is a 3-hour land and ferry transfer from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport. It is 65 km from U-Tapao Rayong-Pattaya International Airport. The bus stops at Ban Phe Terminal, opposite the Nuanthip ferry pier. A motorcycle to Phe Pier is opposite 7-Eleven, near the police station. A part of Koh Samed belongs to the National Park Kaow Laem Ya.
