The car park situation was not clearly communicated before arrival. paying extra for parking each night was an unexpected cost. the room was quite small and felt cramped because a fold-up bed was stored there. It could have been put away elsewhere.

I stayed a few nights, and while the location was convenient, some aspects were disappointing. The room decor felt quite dated. I noticed a distinct smell of dogs throughout the building. I found it rather unpleasant. This was especially noticeable in the mornings.

the staff were friendly and helpful, answering our questions about local attractions. i found this aspect acceptable.

The room was much smaller than i expected. There was hardly any space to move around. the bathroom looked clean initially, but closer inspection revealed some mold in the shower grout. breakfast was only served for a very short window, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am. This felt quite restrictive.

I stayed in a double room. The room had tea and coffee making facilities. It was great. The bathroom was well-heated. Ventilation was easy. I found thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation.

The handrails going up the stairs felt a bit sticky.
