relaxing golf side stay

i found the golf course quite fascinating, despite not playing golf myself. the reception staff were very helpful in securing an outing for us. the spa was really nice (i especially enjoyed the massage!), and the staff there were lovely.
I felt water should be complimentary during meals. Instead, we had to purchase it each time. we received only one complimentary water on arrival with no subsequent refills. this seemed a bit stingy for a hotel of this standard.

I discovered that the restaurant did not offer tea or coffee during dinner. In a five-star hotel, I was expected to fetch my own coffee from the bar. The inconvenience was rather baffling.
