“There's an appealing, old-world charm to this place, a sense of stepping back in time that some will find enchanting. The food is a definite highlight, particularly the breakfast buffet with its emphasis on local ingredients; and the spa, though perhaps not operating at ideal hours, is a real treat. Though some may find the rooms a touch cramped and outdated, the overall experience is memorable, especially given the attentive, family-run service.”
