Review summary
Based on recent reviews

Guests consistently praise the River Arts Club's beautiful location directly on the Thames, with many rooms offering lovely views of the river and rowing club. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds are frequently mentioned, and the breakfast on the patio is a highlight for many. Some guests have, however, noted that certain aspects of the garden could benefit from better maintenance. The Arts and Crafts building itself is beautifully restored, creating a tranquil and relaxing environment easily accessible and within walking distance to the town.

riverside relaxation

riverside locationhonor systemlovely patio
The location right on the river made it really special. i could watch the river life (geese are sweet) from my window. i liked the honor system for snacks and drinks. It felt trusting. the breakfast, though simple, was good sitting on the patio, listening to the birds.
i noticed a few cobwebs outside and some rubble in the car park. (it wasn't a huge deal, but worth mentioning for a polished look.)

the location was nice being right on the river.
the room wasn't as clean as i hoped. a drawer was falling apart and seemed quite dirty. i also found that the lack of a proper closet, just hooks, was not suitable for my stay.
