Andalusian-Moroccan architecture
Riad Dar Guennoun reflects Andalusian and Moroccan art. The riad features Hispano-Moorish architecture, sculpted doors, zelliges on the walls, stucco arcades, and wooden painted ceilings. Rooms
The riad offers rooms like the Royal Suite (35 m²) furnished in a Vintage Fassi style with original paintings and Vintage Carpets, and Abdul, the presidential suite, features a lounge seating area, a mini bar and a balcony that looks over the Courtyard. Suite Miriam is 22 m², it features a lounge area in addition to a mini bar and is furnished in a vintage Fassi (fez) style with direct access to the Courtyard, Omar and Sophia are twin rooms of 16 m², which are located on the second floor, with direct access to the terrace with mosaic fountain and the upper terrace that has a view of the ancient medina of Fez and the Southern fortress. Room amenities include extra long beds (> 2 metres), wardrobe or closet, bathrobes, a tile/marble floor and a refrigerator. A cozy standard room on the first floor offers a seating area and a separate shower and toilet, within 15 square meters.
Dining and Cooking
The restaurant features environment gastronomy, where you can eat and create recipes. Dishes include Chicken Filo Pastries, Meatball and Tomato Sauce Tagine, Oranges with Cinnamon, Moroccan Pastries + Mint Tea, Chicken with Lemon and green olives Tajine, Vegetarian Couscous, Beef and Vegetables of the season Tajine, Prune and Apricot Beef dressed with sesame seeds Tajine, Variety of Salads or Harira (Moroccan Soup), Ground Beef Skewers, and Couscous with Chicken or Beef and Vegetables. Soda options include Coca-Cola, Seven-Up, and Sprite for 1.5 Euro. Hot drinks include Mint Tea and Espresso for 1.5 Euro. Cooking classes are available, starting with a staff-accompanied trip to the main food market.

The riad is near C.C.I.S Fes (1 km), the Maze of Fez (0.5 km), and Medersa Bouanania (1 km). Desert tours combine Fez and Marrakech, with an overnight stay in the Merzouga desert.
