the hotel is in a central location. the metro is close by. my superior double or twin room terrace was very clean. breakfast had much variety and good food. the staff were helpful at all times.

the street seemed a little dodgy. the taxi driver cautioned me to be careful. i had no problems.

A charming surprise in the heart

I found the cleanliness AMAZING. The staff was warm and helpful. Breakfast offered a lot of choice, even eggs and bacon. The location is central. It is very close to La Rambla, a HUGE plus.

The area felt a tad rougher around the edges. HOWEVER i experienced no real issues.

Breakfast included items such as yogurt, fresh fruit, and coffee from a machine. It provided espresso and other options available for free in the reception area, though drinks cannot be taken to the room.

The rooftop terrace offered a lovely spot. There IS a pool. I didn't use it, but the views looked beautiful.

The hotel is within WALKING distance of many major sights. It is also close to the metro L3. Many good restaurants surround the area and are easily accessible.

The receptionists were very informative. One receptionist named Amy was cute and helpful. However other day staff looked neutral. Staff seemed fairly pleasant at all times. They were very warm.

breakfast was alright. it was simple, but i managed to find something to eat each morning.

The air conditioning didn't work well. my room was uncomfortably warm, and i ended up not sleeping well at all. also, the surrounding neighborhood made me nervous. I didn't feel safe walking around at night.
