Room types include Classic Double Rooms above the pub with en-suite showers, Deluxe King Rooms and Dog-Friendly Deluxe King Rooms in Brown Cow cottage with en-suite bathrooms, and Super King Rooms in the main building. The Universal Access King Room, located in Brown Cow, features widened doors, a flat entrance, and a wet room. Amenities include Wi-Fi, flatscreen televisions, luxury beds, toiletries, ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, and electric kettle. Some rooms are dog-friendly. Select rooms have garden furniture, sitting area, and parquet floor. Guests are requested to vacate rooms by 10:00.

The Queens Head restaurant has been awarded an AA rosette and features a menu to suit all tastes. The main menu is based on seasonal dishes prepared to order from fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers. The restaurant serves lunches and dinners ranging from fresh steamed mussels to Cumbrian rib-eye steak, along with pizzas. A Sunday lunch is offered with Yorkshire puddings and trimmings. A selection of wines, gins, cocktails, lagers, vodkas, rums, and cask and craft beers are available at the bar. Every Thursday from 3pm, guests can order a double of any spirit and mixer for £9.75. On Fridays, Whispering Angel wine is discounted by £10 per bottle.
