Locanda Vesuna, formerly a monastery of the Olivetani monks dating back to 1300, offers rooms with traditional Tuscan furnishings. Each room includes a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Dining Options
Locanda Vesuna features a restaurant where visitors can taste specialties prepared by the Chef. Visitors can enjoy aperitifs with views of the Val d'Orcia hills. A dedicated menu is available for half-board guests at an additional cost of 30 euros, including a starter, a first or second course, a glass of wine, half a liter of mineral water, and coffee. The hotel also offers cooking classes every Tuesday and Friday, starting at 9:30 AM or 4:00 PM. Classes accommodate a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 people, costing €140 per person (children up to 12 years: €40). The cooking class includes preparation of fresh pasta (Pici or Tagliatelle) with sauce (Aglione or Wild Boar Ragout), Peposo del Brunelleschi or Porchetta rabbit with aromatic herbs, and Cantucci. The meal also includes a selection of meats, cheeses, mixed bruschetta from the Val d'Orcia, water, and Rosso di Montalcino wine. Mineral water is purified by Osmosi Inversa.
Leisure and Entertainment
Locanda Vesuna provides common spaces with a play area for kids (PlayStation and Movie Night) and adults (billiard table). Onsite, guests will find a football field, a bowling green, and a swimming pool. The hotel also offers a sun terrace with views of the countryside. Billiards, cards, and other games are available. A park for children up to 8 years old and Sky TV in the room are provided.
