local food egg counter decoration area
the hotel breakfast included a variety of local foods, i found an egg counter with different egg dishes. post-checkout service for leaving baggage was reliable. the decoration area created nice photo opportunities, i took advantage of that!
the shower gel wasn't replenished, i had to request it on one occasion

walking distance adequate breakfast poor soundproofing narrow parking
The hotel's location allowed easy exploration of the area. EVERYTHING was within walking distance. Breakfast included many options, adequate.
The soundproofing was not great, I could hear noises from other rooms at night. The parking area was a bit narrow and challenging to navigate.

broken phone ceiling hole
The room phone didn't work. i tried to call for help with the ac, but nothing happened. then, the phone rang at midnight and again at 2:30 am. it woke us up, and they said the phone company was testing something. They should have warned us about that stupid testing. also, the shower ceiling had a hole, a real safety hazard. it was a total joke.

peeling wallpaper lizards inside
The breakfast was okay. It had a good selection of food.
the room felt old. the wallpaper was peeling off, and i even saw lizards inside. they would not change my room so i had to deal with it and it was really disappointing, i felt unheard.

historical charm with modern touches
excellent location historical display helpful staff
the location was excellent, just a short walk from the main attractions (perfect for exploring). the hotel showcased its history beautifully with displays and explanations throughout. i found the staff to be warm and helpful.
the room decor felt a little dated.

The open-air dining room provided a pleasant setting for meals. I liked the water fountain's sound. breakfast included a variety of options, with an egg station preparing fresh dishes daily (i enjoyed the omelets).

mixed feelings on this stay
bathroom odor limited breakfast
the room had some issues i didn't expect. the bathroom had this strange odor, almost like mildew, i found it unpleasant. also, the soundproofing wasn't great, i could hear noise from the hallway and nearby rooms. the breakfast options felt limited, they lacked variety and the food wasn't particularly fresh.
