Gateway to Anchorage
Puffin Inn is located near Ted Stevens International Airport (5 km) and downtown Anchorage (7 km), providing access to Alaska. The hotel is near the Alaska Zoo (features a range of environments), the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center (5 km) and the Alaska Native Heritage Center. For outdoor activities, the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and Kincaid Park are also close.
Rooms and Suites
Puffin Inn offers 85 guest rooms and suites in four styles: Deluxe, Moderate, Boutique, and Economy. Deluxe rooms are in the main building and feature 42-inch flat-panel HDTVs and pillowtop mattresses. Boutique rooms are in the annex building (a half-block from the lobby) and include extra-thick pillowtop mattresses, free HBO, and whirlpool bathtubs in most rooms. Moderate rooms have exterior doors for easy access and include pillowtop mattresses, 42-inch flat-panel HDTVs, and small kitchens in many rooms. Economy rooms, remodeled from the original 1950s section, offer one queen or two twin beds, free HBO, and access to hotel amenities.

Guests can enjoy outdoor dining. The hotel provides complimentary continental breakfast. Anchorage is known for its locally owned eateries and brewpubs.
