Puerta Azul, 10 km from Juan Manuel Galvez International, offers bungalows and villas. The five freestanding bungalows face the Caribbean Sea. Two private garden casitas feature kitchenettes. Each room contains handmade wood furnishings and custom art. Certain rooms include a seating area. All bungalows open to a patio with Adirondack chairs and locally sewn hammocks.

The property offers dining with authentic dishes crafted by local hands. The restaurant serves elevated flavors. Guests can stop in for award-winning chocolate and Honduran coffee. Either one of these side by side restaurants is a great spot to enjoy the beach with lunch and drinks, or enjoy the view with an affordable lunch and a margarita. Complimentary breakfast is available with medium roast coffee from the Opalaca region of Honduras.
Reefside Relaxation
The dock at Puerta Azul extends four hundred feet, providing direct access to the Mesoamerican Reef. Complimentary kayaks and paddleboards are available. Guests can enjoy bottom fishing for snapper. The most common fish caught trolling are tuna, mahi, wahoo, and marlin. A 44' cabin cruiser with a 25' top sundeck is available. Guests can enjoy fishing with Penn reels. The Jesse James boat transports guests to snorkeling destinations. A West Side Tour, North Shore Tour, and East End Tour are available.
