Hotel Provincial, owned by a local New Orleans family since 1961, provides lodgings with antique furnishings and plush bedding. Options range from standard rooms with one double, queen, king, or two double beds, to premium rooms providing views of the courtyards, swimming pool, Mississippi River, or French Market. Petite suites feature one queen or two double beds and a sitting area. Deluxe two-bedroom suites include a king bed, a loft with a queen bed, a sofabed in the living room, and a mini kitchen. Rooms include air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a safe deposit box, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Free Wi-Fi, a mini-refrigerator, ironing facilities, and a hairdryer are standard. Hotel rooms are situated in four restored buildings, with elevator access available in one four-story building.
On-Site Restaurant
The hotel features French Toast restaurant, serving breakfast and lunch daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can select from sweet and savory crepes, toasts, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and entrees like Hangar Steak and eggs and catfish with grits. The restaurant also offers Aebelskivers and king cake French toast stuffed with cinnamon cream cheese.
