Proud Phu Fah Maerim Resort has 9 uniquely styled villas in the Villa Zone, each with high ceilings and located by the stream. The biggest villa suits 4 guests with 2 bedrooms. The Phu Zone features a three-story building with three rooms per floor and one basement room, decorated in white with nature-inspired furniture. Balconies offer mountain views. Rooms feature a jacuzzi or private swimming pool. Relaxant Villas have a similar layout to Private Villas, with a stream-side balcony. Private Villas 6 and 7 feature a clean white tone, while others are in earth brown tones. Rooms have fresh, cool mountain air and fans, with air-conditioning available in select rooms. Private Villas have air-conditioning and fans; Honeymoon Villa 9 has air-conditioning and an outdoor pool. All 11 rooms include premium bedding, laptop-compatible safes, air conditioning, and separate sitting areas. Each villa has a private bathroom and balcony. Amenities include ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, a minibar, a sitting area, a terrace, a dining table, a patio, free Wi-Fi, garden furniture, toiletries, an electric kettle, an AM/FM alarm clock, a CD player, and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms are located up a slope and may not suit guests with walking difficulties. Some offer garden, pool, or river views.
Dining Options
The restaurant serves from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, offering authentic Thai healthy cuisine with fresh ingredients from the highlands. Every dish contains high-quality ingredients and nutrients. Signature dishes include Pad Thai, Steak Laos, Lui Suan Noodles, and Herb-fried fish. Beverages include Lemon-mint soda, Vegie smoothie, and Black current yogurt. American breakfast is available for 250 Baht, Asia breakfast Set A for 200 Baht, and Asia breakfast Set B for 170 Baht.
Leisure and Activities
Proud Phu Fah features an outdoor pool with an Aqua Pure Salt System. Guests can book in-room Thai massages for 350 Baht per hour or 600 Baht per 2 hours. Thai cooking classes are available at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, including 3 main dishes with rice and soft drinks; the cost is 1,500 baht for one person or 1,200 baht per person for a pair. Other activities include bicycle riding and private BBQ parties. The resort offers a room for meetings, accommodating 10-50 guests, with complimentary internet. There is also an Internet Café, DIY T-Shirt activity for children (250 Baht). Nearby attractions include Mae Sa Elephant Camp, Night Safari and Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden. Proud Phu Fah Maerim Resort is on Mae Rim - Samoeng Road, 45 km from Chiang Mai. It is 37 km from the city center and 38 km from Chiang Mai International Airport. Nearby landmarks include Flying Squirrels Zip Line Chiang Mai (3 km), Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden (5.5 km), and Pungyang Elephant Sanctuary (1.5 km). The resort is located 1200 meters above sea level on the mountain of Mae Rim. Pick-up service from Chiang Mai is available for 1,000 Baht (car, 1-3 persons) or 2,000 Baht (van, 4-8 persons) per route. Car rental with driver for 2-3 persons costs 1,800 Baht per day (8 hours, excluding gasoline), and van rental for 4-8 persons is 2,000 - 2,200 Baht per day (8 hours, excluding gasoline). Self-drive car rental for 1-4 persons is 1,500 Baht per day (24 hours, excluding gasoline).
