a magical escape
refurbished roomwarm welcomebest pizzaequipment demand
we go to this hotel every year and i must say, this visit was really good. our refurbished room offered a fresh, updated space that felt luxurious. the reception staff, including marisa and her team, gave us a warm welcome.. their genuine helpfulness enhanced our stay. picco restaurant continues to impress with the best pizzas around.
during our stay, i noticed that the gym's equipment was often in high demand, especially during peak hours. it sometimes was like waiting was part of the workout. perhaps more equipment or expanded hours could ease this a bit.

the hotel's location is superb, as it allows easy access to nearby nature reserves. a short, pleasant walk leads directly to the beach, perfect for enjoying the coastal scenery, especially during sunrise. local shops and restaurants are also within easy reach.

the breakfast buffet presented a rich variety with many choices to start the day right. i found the food at the restaurants, particularly the grill restaurant, to be better than expected. the wide range of options catered to various tastes.

The room was immaculate. It featured modern furnishings. The rain shower had great water pressure. There were plenty of towels available.
The restaurant could get quite busy sometimes. This occasionally resulted in a slight wait for a table.
