Location and Transport
The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko is built right on the shores of Lake Ashi, near Mount Kamiyama and Mount Komagatake. It is 11 km from Ohiradai and 80 km from Oshima. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus exclusively for guests staying at The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko, Ryuguden, Hakone-en Cottage West, and Hakone-en Cottage Camping. A free circulating bus connects the hotel to Moto Hakone, where Hakone Shrine and a sightseeing boat ride are located. Buses bound for The Prince Hakone-Ashinoko are for alighting passengers only at Hakone-en. Guests staying at the Ryuguden will also depart from The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko. Several direct buses from Shinjuku, Tokyo go to Hakone-en. The hotel is near Lake Ashi and Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.
