Other options are King or Two Queen rooms that provide necessary items for a stay. Deluxe rooms feature 330 square feet with pillow-top beds and sitting areas. Suites have residential-style floor plans, optional private balconies, and views of the San Diego harbor or Little Italy neighborhood. ADA-compliant rooms include roll-in showers.
Dining at GlassDoor
GlassDoor Restaurant, a Mexican Cantina, is located on the fourth floor. It features views of Little Italy and the bay. Open daily for dinner from 5 PM to 9 PM. The restaurant serves dishes paired with house-infused cocktails, craft beer, and wine. On weekdays it offers happy hour from 5 PM to 7 PM. Weekday breakfast is offered as well. On weekends, brunch is available.
Leisure and Art
The hotel has a rooftop 'spool' with spa jets. Art is present throughout the hotel, including original murals, art installations, elevators, exterior corridors, and a vending machine dispensing original artworks. The hotel commissions local and international artists for on-site projects. There are rotating exhibitions in the lobby, GlassDoor restaurant, and on the rooftop. Parallel Screens is a video art exhibition curated by Hotel Resident Curator Brunno Silva. Two large screens, situated parallel to each other, will show a two-hour video of two pieces showing at the same time on opposite screens, with a single audio feed.

Located in Little Italy, the Porto Vista Hotel is near downtown San Diego, the Gaslamp District, the San Diego Airport, the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and the San Diego Convention Center. India Street features Italian restaurants such as Trattoria Fantastica and Buon Appetito. The hotel is near Filippi's Pizza Grotto, which includes a delicatessen and market. It is 0.4 miles from Waterfront Park. The Old Town Trolley travels down Columbia Street, in front of the Porto Vista.
