Cultural events: Palio of Siena and Puccini Festival

Recreation: Proximity to art cities and nightlife

“Hotel Plaza E De Russie, a Relais & Chateaux property, enjoys a prime seafront address on Viareggio's main street and it is known for attentive service; I think its modern interiors offer comfortable respite, though street noise might be a factor for some rooms. The hotel occupies Viareggio's first ever hotel building, dating back to 1871, and stands out for Art Nouveau architecture, plus I'm intrigued by the Michelin-starred dining at Lunasia. A solid choice, especially if you value location and historical charm.”
