High-end restaurants clean their produce in antiseptic solution. The hotel has its own borehole, 85 meters deep, providing water from Mount Kilimanjaro, checked for purity every 12 months.

The hotel is located near the coffee processing factory, and the area is home to the Chagga, Pare, and Maasai tribes. Moshi is known for coffee and bananas.
