Soundproofed rooms have a bathroom telephone, a separate tub and shower, and free toiletries. Suites offer a living area separated from the bedroom by sliding panel doors, a 55-inch flat-screen cable TV, a built-in bedside charging station, and tablet technology to control room temperature and lighting. Marble bathrooms include a soaking tub and an in-mirror TV. Some suites have a separate living room with a sofa, a seating area, and a 42-inch flat-screen cable TV. Rooms have either city views or iconic views of Michigan Avenue, a 55-inch flat-screen cable TV, a built-in bedside charging station, and tablet technology to control room temperature and lighting.

The hotel's award-winning restaurants include The Lobby, which serves contemporary American cuisine. Breakfast in The Lobby comprises à la carte options, including eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, avocado toast, Belgian waffles, and shakshuka. The Allis offers avocado toast flavored with basil, lemon, and red pepper, topped with a poached egg, as well as fried or rotisserie chicken. Shanghai Terrace offers classic dim sum and creative entrees like Five Spices Tea Smoked Duck. ROOF serves creative craft cocktails and burgers prepared with a touch of bone marrow. The Peninsula Chicago features a half-Olympic indoor swimming pool enclosed by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the cityscape.
