“The hotel presents a paradox. Inside, one finds a colonial-style refuge with park-like grounds and varied dining, but stepping out places you squarely in a gritty section of Manila, a factor to consider when balancing value and location, especially after dark. For business and cultural travelers who prioritize tranquility and don't mind a bit of urban roughness beyond the entrance, this could be a worthwhile base near Robinson's Place and Intramuros.”
