Entertainment: Weekly quiz and acoustic jam nights

Heritage: Commitment to restoring heritage pubs

“Peak Hotel Castleton strikes me as a snug base for exploring the Peak District, with its four-poster beds and a location deep in the heart of Castleton; the building clearly carries a good dose of old English charm, which I appreciate. The on-site restaurant and pub are welcome additions, especially after a long day on the nearby walking trails, and, from what I gather, it's a spot where you're likely to run into friendly faces. I'd say it's a solid choice for those seeking a blend of local culture and natural beauty.”

adequate but some issues noticed

mold sealantdirty glass
the bathroom needed a deep clean i noticed mold on the sealant around the bath. there were also cobwebs near the ceiling so the cleaning was not thorough enough. it was a bit frustrating finding these things especially after a long day.

the pub quiz was really fun and they gave us free bowls of chips. we also ate there earlier, the food was quite good. there was a great selection of drinks available. i was allowed to keep my car in the car park until 1300 after checkout, which i appreciated.
the tv in the room was a little small for my taste.
