wonderful getaway
helpful staffnew barnoisy tours
i find the staff helpful. i enjoyed the lovely new bar area. it had lots of seating. a log fire kept it extra cozy. drinks were also at sensible prices.
i noticed that the hotel had multiple school tours. those tours stayed for the dates i booked. mornings and evenings could get noisy, which did affect my stay.

the rooms were spacious. each had a large comfortable bed. great storage was provided in the bedrooms. the hotel is recently renovated to a high standard.

i was happy that food was good. i thought the restaurant offered delicious food. i appreciated the very friendly service i received there. the hotel also served a nice breakfast.
