superb location, some minor issues

The location was fantastic. It sat right in the middle of nightlife with restaurants all around. the staff was helpful because i needed to store luggage. the room had professional decor. Beds were very comfortable! a full blown english breakfast satisfied me completely.

the wifi did not work in my room! it was never addressed despite raising the issue to reception.

the staff was very communicative even before i arrived, offering advice about travel. our room was street facing with a traditional balcony and tiled floor. the bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower.

the wifi didn't work in our room though i raised it to the reception. the quality of the food on offer felt really cheap? some items were left uncovered in a warm room! on our second last night the air conditioning had broken

The location is very central. It made it easy to walk to historical spots and various places. The interior hallway possesses a lot of character. The staff were super nice. The breakfast selection was great (especially with the salmon).

The room lacked proper ventilation, and the bathroom didn't have enough light.

The breakfast was a little uninspired. The same options looked every day. The room, while clean, felt somewhat cramped. There were only two small wardrobes available. A third person made storage difficult. Water from the shower leaked, spreading across the entire bathroom. This was REALLY annoying.

The air conditioning broke on the second to last night. The portable unit they provided was so noisy i did not sleep at all that night, impacting the final day of my holiday... the breakfast was also disappointing. Coffee machines seemed faulty, food felt cheap for a hotel of this supposed caliber.

the room was quite small, even though it was supposed to be a double. there was barely any space for our suitcases and it felt very cramped. the shower had jets that did not work properly, and some tiles were chipped. it reminded me of the hotel was not maintained well.
