Rooms and Suites

The Outrigger Beach Resort provides rooms with tile floors, ironing facilities, and kitchens equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and cookware. Each spacious room includes one king bed or two extra-long double beds, a sofa sleeper, two flat-screen televisions, an iron with ironing board, a safe, and a sliding glass door leading to a private balcony or patio. Resort View West rooms overlook the sundeck and Tiki Bar with a partial side view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. The Garden Efficiency offers a shared semi-private back patio with table and chairs. Some rooms feature a seating area with a table and chairs, a coffee machine, and a mini refrigerator. Maximum occupancy is 4 using existing bedding, up to 5 when using a roll-away bed (extra charge). In king bedded studios maximum occupancy is 2 or 3 when using a roll-away bed (extra charge).

Dining Options

The Outrigger Beach Resort has a bathing suit and barefoot-friendly restaurant that serves flavorful fare in the Café or on the Sundeck. Charley's Boathouse Grill & Wine Bar offers casual dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, where guests can enjoy petite filet and fresh seafood. Room service is available, including several pizza options. Deckside Café is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with an à la carte menu featuring American, pizza, and seafood. Charley's Boat House Grill & Wine Bar is open for dinner and cocktail hour, with an à la carte menu offering American, seafood, and steakhouse options.

Leisure and Activities

Guests can collect seashells, sunbathe, enjoy water sports, and watch pods of dolphins frolic in the Gulf. The Fort Myers Beach Trolley allows exploration of attractions, including Lover's Key State Park and the shops and cafés of Times Square. Outdoor recreation includes beach volleyball, spotting dolphins, collecting seashells, sunbathing, and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico. Guests have access to the restroom located in the Guest Laundry as well as in the Pelican Perch. Sports fans can watch the MLB's Minnesota Twins and the MLB's Boston Red Sox prepare during Spring Training.

Location and Access

The Outrigger Beach Resort is 30 km from Page Field. It is located a short distance from Centennial Park, Lover's Key State Park, Bowditch Point Park, and Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Stay on Bonita Beach Road, which turns into Hickory Beach Boulevard and Estero Boulevard on Fort Myers Beach. Landmarks nearby include Great Escape Sailing (1.5 km), Estero Island (2 km), Black Island Trail (3.5 km), and Big Carlos Pass (3 km).

Services Available

The Outrigger Gift Shop offers everything from sunscreen to shades. The guest service center provides rentals for two-person cushioned beach cabanas. Guests can borrow board games from the Front Desk. An outdoor thatched-roof deck accommodates up to 60 people. Private offers can be unlocked, allowing guests to create their own private password for use anytime. No smoking or vaping is allowed on any of the balconies, patios, walkways, in the parking lot, and all public areas. The 4th floor in the beachfront building is only accessible by stairs from the 3rd floor.
