the staff was helpful with directions.
scaffolding covered the exterior and corridors had exposed ceilings with wires hanging down. It was far from the relaxing atmosphere i anticipated. the gym was closed, very inconvenient.

the business halls are excellent (just perfect for our needs). coffee break rooms are conveniently located. laurane malonga and the team helped me with scheduling and collateral. they even assisted with video conferencing and electricity for laptops.
it would have been good to know this beforehand. the exterior doesn't look as inviting due to this.

the front desk staff was very friendly, they assisted with a smile. porters were quick to help with our bags as we arrived. i found the staff spoke excellent english and also indulged my attempts at french.

the hotel is within easy walking distance to many points of interest. access to the main subway and rer station of chatelet and les halles is easy. there are many nearby shops and restaurants offering great options.
