NOMI Stay Details
Located near Algonquin Provincial Park, NOMI Resort Club offers lodgings on 850 acres with 1,800 feet of waterfront. The residences overlook the surrounding landscape. Room features include air conditioning, satellite TV, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, and garden furniture. Additional amenities consist of free toiletries, an electric kettle, an iPad, a flat-screen TV, carpeted or parquet floors. Rooms offer views of the forest.
Dining at Lands 8FIFTY
The resort provides a culinary experience at its restaurant, Lands 8FIFTY. Signature dishes offer a rustic freshness enhanced by the chef's culinary skills. Nomi Resort Club has welcomed Adrian Caravello, Sommelier, Diploma WSET, MBA Coordinator and Professor of the Advanced Wine and Beverage Business Management Program at George Brown College to develop a unique wine, cocktail and events list to complement the strong Food & Beverage presence.
Leisure and Wellness
NOMI Resort Club features a 40,000 square foot private area, with curated experiences. The resort provides indoor and outdoor wellness programs throughout the year. Amenities include a clubhouse by the lake with year-round facilities, a water spa and outdoor activities. Regular massage services are available. Alternative therapy includes Bio-identical Hormone replacement therapy, and also the Myers Cocktail, a nutrient cocktail invented by John Myers, a physician from Baltimore, Maryland. Adventure activities are available each season, with hiking, cycling, boating, bird watching, and snowmobiling. The Yellow Trail allows guests to experience views of the snow-covered trees and hills.
Park and Activities
NOMI Resort Club gives access to Algonquin Park, with over 2,000 lakes and 1200km of streams for canoeing. The park has 17 hiking trails, mountain-biking paths, and fishing spots. The Visitor's Centre includes educational museums, an artists' gallery, a book and gift store, a cafeteria, and film screenings about the park's history. Canoes are available for use on Benoir Lake.
Porsche Destination Charging
Nomi Resorts offers a destination charging program in partnership with Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. and Porsche Oakville. This program provides charging stations for guests with electric or e-hybrid Porsche models, compatible with most electric vehicles. Also sports enthusiasts can take a drive through cottage country on a non-competitive drive event on great roads with nice scenery, and socializing with others and their fine cars and learn what's new and upcoming in the Policaro Group and Porsche.
