the building has historical significance and offers tours. i appreciated the exclusive bar. the concierge staff proved helpful .

The room design felt poor. I could hear corridor noise at the headboard. the toilet was tiny and uncomfortable for taller guests. space for packing was limited unless i used the balcony

mixed feelings about my stay

the hotel grounds are fine and well kept.

On arrival, i was welcomed at reception but that's where it ends. i was taken to my room which was small to say the least. at £400 a night i would have expected somewhat bigger and more comfortable. There was music all night from the room next door as the dividing walls are paper thin.
