Dining at Hermitage
The hotel features two restaurants: Annapurna and Meenakshi. Annapurna specializes in vegetarian dishes. It is dedicated to the Goddess of Nourishment. Meenakshi, located beachside, offers fresh fish caught daily. Both restaurants include a Meeting Table where solo travelers can join others for meals and conversation. Cookery classes are available.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests can use the Ayurvedic Priya Spa, which includes five treatment rooms around a central courtyard garden. Treatments include synchronized abhyanga, pizhichil, and shirodhara. Yoga classes take place in the Patanjali Yoga Hall near the beach. There is a 70ft infinity pool overlooking the sea.

Neeleshwar Hermitage is in Northern Kerala, 95 km from Mangalore International Airport. It is a 7/8 hour drive from Bangalore through the Western Ghats. Landmarks nearby include Nileshwar Muthappan Madappura (3.5 km) and Thaikadappuram Beach (2.5 km).
Services at Hermitage
The hotel provides filtered water via a Reverse Osmosis System. Ayurvedic consultations are available with Dr. Dilna. Cultural Director Alistair Shearer leads evening lectures on history, art, and philosophy. The hotel supports a turtle hatchery on the beach. Transcendental Meditation (TM) courses are available.
