underwhelming stay in a noisy area

tiny windowtrain rumble

I found the noise from nearby trains quite bothersome at night. It definitely affected my sleep. also, the room felt quite small and lacked storage space. the window was tiny and high up so it was hard to see out of it. honestly i have stayed in better places for less money. the breakfast was pretty basic and you had to pay extra if you wanted anything beyond a bagel and drink.

the location was convenient. many shops, bars, and restaurants were nearby in shimokitazawa. the hotel also featured a nice bar and cafe. it was comfortable and quiet.

the room seemed smaller than expected. i felt the pictures were a bit misleading. the window was quite small.

The lobby had a helpful staff and served good coffee! the location was convenient, close to both higashikitazawa and shimokitazawa. i liked the free drip coffee at the reception. It was available with no limits. the hotel also gave out awesome pyjamas.

the room lacked natural ventilation, and the heating seemed like a blast furnace, though i could turn it off.
