“This country house aims for elegance, though some past guest experiences suggest uneven service and upkeep. Its Victorian architecture and landscaped grounds offer a tranquil setting near Hereford. I see potential for romantic getaways and events, provided maintenance and staffing receive consistent attention.”

comfortable pillows spacious room breakfast options check-in process return call vacuuming quality
The Orchid Suite was a treat. The bed had comfortable pillows and the room was spacious. Breakfast included a good mix of cereals, yoghurts, and full breakfast options (especially the eggs!).
The check-in process was unusual. I rang upon arrival and waited 25 minutes for a return call to get checked in.

charming and well kept
wow factor holiday decorations
the hotel gave the wow factor upon arrival. the holiday season decorations both inside and out were beautifully presented. i found ample parking available, so there was no trouble to find a spot.
I found that the grounds have not been maintained, appearing overgrown, with last season's leaves scattered around. the paths and steps are similarly overgrown. This area needs work.

The hotel includes landscaped grounds, though a bit unkempt. the ample parking space allowed for easy and stress-free parking on the premises. This was convenient.

The hotel impressed me immediately upon arrival. The building looks very nice. My room was spacious and very clean, with a super clean bathroom. I had a choice between a bath and a shower, which I always appreciate (it's rare!). The breakfast was super.
