A walk to the Old City is pleasant, though most prefer to walk down the hill. Public transportation to-and-from Damascus Gate runs daily until approximately 9:00 p.m. Arab Souk Market and Mamilla Mall are worth checking out. It is possible to walk depending on negotiation skills with the driver.
