Walkable and Well-Equipped
central location helpful staff spacious room great kitchen facilities
I found the location very convenient as it was central. Shops were within walking distance of the hotel. My room had a microwave and a kettle, so kitchen facilities were helpful. The fridge was spacious enough for a case of beer.
I noticed a slight musty smell in the room, and it was more noticeable in the bathroom. The shower was positioned over the old spa bath, and stepping in and out was a bit awkward. The room could use some updating...

The hotel is on the main street, so it's an easy walk to several restaurants. Parking is plentiful making it easy to check in and check out. The central location is a notable advantage.

useful bench food utensils smoking information arrival area
The room had utensils that assisted with warming up our food. The chairs and long bench were useful, TOO.
There was a lack of information regarding smoking areas. MY husband was told there was no smoking outside the room upon arrival.

adequate stay, some issues
dark brick walls uneven bricks
the location was pretty convenient (easy access to nearby places).
i found the brick walls inside quite dark and somewhat unsafe. the bed head barely covered one pillow, i need several to sleep comfortably (due to a chest condition). i worried about bumping my head on the uneven bricks during the night.
